The rule of the trade

The first solid quote usually wins the job.

The old way

Quotes built at the kitchen table, two days later.

The Snapbid way

Itemized quote in the customer's inbox before you drive off.

How it works

From tailgate to signed quote

01

Capture

Record a voice note like you'd brief your crew. Snap 1–4 photos of the site.

02

Extract

AI pulls the job spec — fence type, footage, height, gates, tear-out, slope.

03

Estimate

Deterministic assemblies expand the spec into materials & labor at your prices.

04

Review & send

Adjust any line, then send a branded quote by email or text.

05

Win

The homeowner opens the link and accepts online. You get notified instantly.

Why it wins

Your numbers. Not AI guesses.

Chat AI can write a fence quote that sounds right and prices it from thin air. Snapbid doesn't. The AI only reads the job spec from your voice and photos — the math runs through trade-specific assemblies and your own price book.

  • Assemblies built for the trade. Posts every 8 ft, rails per section, pickets by the inch, concrete per post, labor by the foot — the formulas a good estimator carries in their head.
  • Your price book. Set your material costs and labor rate once. Every quote uses them, with your markup and your tax rate.
  • You approve every quote. AI drafts, you decide. Edit any line item before it goes out — nothing is sent on autopilot.

You say

“Wood privacy fence, 180 feet, 6 foot, one double gate, tear out the old chain-link.”

FAQ

Straight answers

Do I need to be a computer guy?

If you can send a text and take a photo, you can run Snapbid. There's no CAD, no spreadsheet, no setup beyond typing your prices once (we start you with a realistic template).

What if the AI gets the job wrong?

You review every quote before it goes anywhere. The spec (footage, height, gates, tear-out) is editable, and one tap reprices the whole quote through your price book. The AI never invents prices — pricing is fixed formulas using your numbers.

Which trades does it support?

v1 is built deep for fencing: wood privacy, chain-link, vinyl and aluminum, plus gates, tear-out, slope and permits. Decks and outdoor living are next on the roadmap.

Why is a card required for the trial?

It keeps the trial to serious operators, which keeps support fast for you. You won't be charged until day 15, and cancelling takes two taps in Billing.

Can homeowners really accept online?

Yes — every quote gets a clean public link with your branding. The homeowner types their name to accept, you get notified instantly, and the status updates on your dashboard.

Stop quoting at the kitchen table.

Your next walk-through can end with a quote in the homeowner's inbox.
